Celebrate Black History Month February 23-27th

February 1st marked the beginning of Black History Month. Black History Month is a time to recognize, honor, and celebrate Black history and its lasting impact on America and around the world. Throughout this month, students will engage in meaningful learning experiences designed to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Black history. These opportunities will include a Spirit Week (with special days honoring the namesake of our school), a Black History Month Pep Rally, and Career Cafés for our 5th graders that will highlight African American professionals and their contributions. If you are interested in supporting or participating in any of these events, we would love to partner with you. Please contact [email protected]. for more details. Thank you for helping us create meaningful learning experiences for our students.
