I have been teaching 2nd grade at Patrick Henry for quite a few years! I am originally from Philadelphia, PA (forever a Philly Phan!) and graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2010. I then continued on to receive my masters in Reading the following year at SJU. After graduating from graduate school, I taught fourth grade in Hatfield, PA before relocating to Arlington, VA! I now live in Washington, DC and love #cityliving!
I enjoy reading, crafting, running and practicing yoga! I have run many 10 miler and half marathon races. Maybe one day I will run a full marathon, maybe! I am a foodie and love trying new foods and going to new restaurants. DC is the best place to be because it always has a new restaurant opening up! My favorite food is pizza and I look forward to Fridays for Pizza Night at home! I have two older brothers and they both are married with children. I have two beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews. I love spending time with my family!
I absolutely love teaching and cannot imagine doing anything else! Follow me on twitter to see the fun things we’re doing in the classroom!
