Originally from Rochester, NY, I started my teaching career here at APS in 2003, after working in the corporate arena for several years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Syracuse University and an MBA from SUNY Buffalo. In 2001 I pursued a lifelong urge to teach and went back to school one more time to obtain a Master’s degree in Education, with endorsements in Elementary Education and Special Education. My job search brought me to APS and Patrick Henry and I love it here! Children are very special to me and it is a privilege to be part of their learning careers.
I am an avid reader and I love to be outside – especially biking and hiking (Adirondack Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains!). I enjoy playing softball and volleyball and have been on some championship teams over the years! I also love animals and have volunteered rescuing dogs and working with horses. I have nine nieces and nephews whom I cherish. As often as I can I get away to the beach for sun and sand!
I am proud to be part of the APS learning community.
